Frequently Asked Questions
*Also see below for Important EBT Changes*

How do I qualify?

There are no qualifications. Angel Food is open to anyone. An application is not required, so everyone is qualified to purchase angel food.

Is there a limit on the amount of angel food I can purchase?

You may purchase as many regular units and special boxes as you would like. There are no limitations! *Remember you must purchase the $30 box in order to purchase any of the specials.*

Is the Angel Food menu the same menu each month?

No, the menu changes each month so check back each month to see what's new on the menu.

What kind of food is Angel Food?

Angel Food is restaurant grade meats, frozen vegetables, fruits, dairy products and other grocery items from only the best producers and vendors of high quality “name brand” foods.  Angel food is not second hand, day old, damaged, or out-dated goods in dented cans without labels; and, the produce is not produce that is almost too ripe. Angel food is the same quality/grade that you would purchase at a grocery store.

How can I pay for my Angel Food order?

We accept cash, money orders, or EBT Food Stamps. You can even mail in your order before our monthly deadline. EBT orders must be made in person, so stop by the church on one of the scheduled order days or make an appointment to place your EBT order. Please note that Angel Food is changing its distribution days for 2007 and they will be coming earlier in the month than the previous normal schedule. Please mail payments to:

Christian Fellowship Assembly

2352 Dallas-Cherryville Highway

Dallas, North Carolina 28034

Important EBT Policy Changes:

Post dating EBT funds will no longer be allowed. You must start planning ahead and allotting extra money on your EBT to pay for your orders each month. We can no longer take EBT's and hold them until your date. If your EBT comes back with insufficient funds you are financially responsible for your order.

What Do I Need to Bring?

You must bring your own container (ONE for each $30 order you purchase) to pick up your food, such as a large box, cooler or clothes basket. We are not able to hold orders due to lack of freezer and refrigerator space so, Please be on time. NO REFUNDS will be given for orders not picked up. Any boxes that are not picked up during distribution times will be donated to a needy family, unless you have made prior arrangements with Rhonda Nelson.

We are not able to accept late orders or cancel an order already placed. Please see the deadline for ordering each month.
